Friday's Top 5

Its been a few weeks since we have done a Top Five, but I thought I would bring it back today.

1. Exhausted from family pictures
2. Standing on his own, he's so proud of himself
3. Playing in the leaves-or should I say eating the leaves
4. Little Man's new friend at play date
5. We've been teething this week and Little Man is fussy, but being in the Baby Bjorn makes him happy

So obviously you can see what my life revolves around these days. I some how have not taken a single picture of myself this week and all of Little Man. But he is just so darn cute.

Friday's Top Five

I so sorry I didn't get anything else posted this week. I'm working on a few post that just aren't ready yet, but keep checking back next week.

 

1. Spent a day hanging with Hubby. We are in search for a good pack-n-play so we had to try out a few at Babies-R-Us. 

2. Look at my boys snuggling in the morning. So cute, I had to snap a pic

3. Roll Tide-Little Man's new jersey for Saturday Football

1. Went to the Alabama vs Ole Miss game on Saturday. Love being in the stadium with 100,000 other fans cheering my favorite team on

2. I love getting baby kisses. He is so cuddly now and loves giving hugs and kisses, they are often painful to me though because he pulls my hair and presses his face as hard as he can, but its still so sweet

3. Amazing anniversary date with Hubby, these chocolate covered strawberries were awesome

4. Look at my big boy sitting in the highchair, he was so proud of himself

5. Getting festive, adorable pumpkin butt :)

It's been a few weeks since we did a highlights post. We have been very busy every weekend this month and it has been hard to get to the blog. 

1. Family time at the zoo

2. Fun time hanging out with family at the campsite

3. Little Man's face of bewilderment when I was singing and dancing for him

4. I just love this little guy, he's getting so big

5. We saw cousin Blaiden again. He is 1 month younger, but much larger than Little Man

1. Helped assist a wedding on Saturday, I created this chalkboard
2. Hubby joined me for Zumba class, I was really proud of him shaking is groove thang
3. Family time at the fair, I look forward to it every year

5. Best Friends already, he pulls on her ears and she just licks his face

Friday's Top Five

 

1. Fun afternoon out at our Botanica Gardens with friends

2. New (to us) Car!!!! Our 2003 Focus' air conditioning went out so we upgraded to a 2010 Hyundai Tucson 

3. Little Man started eating peas this week, he as also tried carrots as well. 

4. August Cara Box, my partner Kenzie did an awesome job check out what I got here

5. Little man has been rolling from back to front for a while now, but yesterday was the first time I saw him roll from front to back. He bonked his head when he rolled over so it might take a few more days for him to get the courage to try again.

1. Playing with Daddy, such a happy boy
2. Blogging session on the porch, Little Man was being super fussy, and being outside always calms him down
3. Hanging out with Papa (my grandfather), too cute that they were both hanging out with their hands over their head

Friday's Top Five

1. Little Man tried his first bowl of rice cereal. After he figured it out he was a big fan :)
2. We went to Exploration Place with my Mother-In-Law and Brother-In-Laws (yes they are 10 and 4, and yes your read that right brother-in-laws)

Friday's Top Five

1. Tummy time, he's enjoying it more and more.
2. Zumba!! I bought the wii Zumba game so I can workout at home when there aren't classes offered at the Y.
3. "Lock up your daughters" Little Man's Daddy approved shirt.
4. Family photo shoot. Pictures will be up as soon as I get them from the photographer.
5. Hubby styled his hair into a faux hawk. Obviously he wasn't amused.

So I know that it is Monday, but we have been super busy this weekend, so here is our top five highlights from last week.

1. Our puppy Lulu decided that Little Man didn't have enough hair so she used her tail as his toupee
2. Little Man finally got to meet his other Grandparents this weekend, he danced with Grandpa Doug at the wedding
3. Wonderful time had by all at my cousin's David wedding
4. Little Man found his feet and voice this week
5. Hugging his glow seahorse, so cute

Friday's Top Five

 Another week has passed and boy was it a busy one. Little Man turned 3 months this week also.

1. Playing cards with Daddy
2. An awesome game night complete with some good old fashion TPing! Little Man had fun with his friend as well
3. Little Man turned 3 months old
4. Too hot for clothes, he spent the afternoon just like this
5. Gammy got a new rattle for him, and he loves it

Friday's Top Five

Friday is here again!! It seems like the weekend should be over already since we just spent 2 nights at the lake and had an awesome July 4th, but we still get 2 whole more days with Hubby before he goes back to work.

1. Walked around Downtown Wichita, had to do a pit stop on the bench for a diaper change
2. We have been working on the teen room at our new church, Little Man came to "help"
3. Little Man looking festive in his Fourth of July outfit
4. The best s'mores ever!! Toasted Marshmallow paired with Thanks-a-Lot Girl Scout Cookies
5. Little Man and I at the lake. He was pretty cranky so he didn't enjoy it very much, but I sure did

1. Little Man and I dressed up for church this week. I wore my fascinator from Easter year

5. Little Man and Lulu, they get along so well and it warms my heart

Friday's Top Five

Another week has passed, and it has been a busy one. We had a play-date with Little Man's cousin, went swimming, took a trip to Oklahoma, and more. Hubby has been away this week at church camp, and Poppy (my dad) was away on business too. So Little Man has been the Man-of-the-House this week. Can you say SPOILED??

Our trip to Oklahoma took longer than expected so my Friday Highlights turned into Saturday ones. 

 Here's this weeks photo-recap:

1. My sunburn from swimming. Little Man was totally covered but I forgot to do myself.
2. Good morning smiles.
3. Pouty face while at Botanica. We were playing "pass the baby" and he wasn't a fan.
4. We took a spur-of-the-moment (aka it took us 4 hours to actually get ready and leave) trip to see Hubby while he was away at church camp. We made a pallet bed on the floor, Little Man loved it.
5. Play date with cousin Blaiden (1 month old).

Friday's Top Five

I have decided to start writing down my top 5 highlights from the week. Being a stay-at-home-mom, my days start to run together. I thought this would be a great way for me to remember the little moments and one day when Little Man is older, we can sit down together and read about our day to day life when he was tiny.

1. Little Man slept for 6 hours finally- We have been struggling getting him to sleep longer than 3 at a time, and I think we have finally found the right night time routine to help him sleep longer.
2. Girls Night Out- A night out with my new friends from East Point (our new church). We all learned how to paint a canvas. I was supposed to paint wheat instead of birds, but birds are more my style, so I went outside of the box.
3. Botanica- took Little Man to Botanica and their wonderful Children's Garden. He loved putting his feet in the water on he big rock fountain.
4. Riverfest Food Court- Every year I get so excited about the food court, but $40 later, I was disappointed and still hungry. Hubby loved his turkey leg and corn on the cob though.
5. Zumba- I was introduced to Zumba by my friend Sally, and  boy did it kick my butt! I was so sweaty afterwards, and to top it off I wasted my workout by eating Chick-fil-a later that night :(
